About Me
I received my Master’s Degree in Counseling from Sonoma State University in 1989 and my license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in 1992. In 1994 I opened my private therapy practice and have been in Santa Rosa since then, specializing in youth and families. Couples and individual adults now form a significant part of my practice. I focus on building strong and safe relationships with clients so we can address difficult and often painful issues, developing skills that can be used outside of the office. Anxiety, depression, communication, marital conflict, anger management and parenting are some of the issues I often work with and my office is set up to do play therapy with younger children.
We all have the capacity to live better, more satisfying lives and have relationships that heal. If you are ready to take the courageous step of doing therapy, I believe I can help you. Please contact me if you would like to discuss my work or arrange an appointment.
